Raspberry-mint lemonade

How about a drink guys? This is the first serious recipe for a drink on this blog. A ‘sparkling’ ginger-raspberry-mint lemonade! To cool you down, to freshen you up or to quench your thirst?
The raspberry ‘extract’ for the fruitiness.
The lemon juice and mint leaves for the freshness.
And the ginger for the special touch.

None of the ingredients are overpowering. They all have a subtle presence and combine very well. A bit of it with some sparkling water and your lemonade is ready to drink. No added sugars, soda’s or other things. Only the best, fresh ingredients together with water.

Ginger-raspberry-mint lemonade
Yield: 4 glasses

Ingredients:
1 thumb size ginger
5 tbs raspberries (frozen)
1 handful fresh mint leaves
2 tbs water, if needed
1 lemon
1 L sparkling water
Extra raspberries and mint to decorate

Directions:
Place the ginger, raspberries and min leaves in you blender. Add the juice of the lemon to create a thick lemonade extract. If the consistency is too thick by now, add a few tbs water.
Sift the extract and divide it over 4 glasses. Fill those up with sparkling water. Decorate with raspberries and mint.
